Strategic Plan

Our inaugural Strategic Plan outlines the capital improvements, operational enhancements, and community programs that we will undertake in the coming year to transform NYCHA’s aging infrastructure at Trust sites as well as what the Trust has done to date. With a focus on sustainability, resident empowerment, and transparency, we aim to build a secure and vibrant future for New York City’s communities.

For the Strategic Plan, the Trust held a public comment period from September 3 - October 4, 2024. This public was able to submit comments electronically, via mail, or in-person during the September Board Meeting. All submitted comments were carefully considered before the document is finalized, ensuring that the final version reflects the diverse perspectives and needs of the community.

Resident Partnership Roadmap

Residents are at the heart of the Trust’s mission. From serving on our board to deciding whether to opt into the Modernization & Preservation (Trust Mod) Program, residents are our key partners in shaping the future of their communities. We are excited to introduce the Resident Partnership Roadmap, our plan that outlines our commitment to moving from resident engagement to true resident partnership. It details how residents will play a critical role in the success of the Trust Mod Program through direct partnership, process coordination, and ongoing information-sharing.
